Tropical Traditions Review and Giveaway
The nice people over at Tropical Traditions sent me a bottle of Organic Virgin Coconut Oil and their book Virgin Coconut Oil: How it has changed people’s lives, and how it can change yours!! to review.
Brian Shilhavy, the founder, asked his wife, Marianita, if there was a more natural way to extract the oil from the coconuts since she grew up on a coconut plantation in the Philippines. She said there was a method the older generation used to extract the oil by grating the fresh coconut, extracting the coconut milk, and then letting the coconut milk stand in a covered container for about 24 hours. After about 24 hours, the oil naturally separates from the water producing a crystal clear oil that retains the full scent and taste of coconuts. They were the first ones to bring virgin coconut oil to the US. They use the original method to extract the oil. It is not mass produced using chemicals like most coconut oils you find in the stores.
They are having some great sales now. If you list me (5130187) as your referral your first-time purchase will also receive a FREE gift, their book "Virgin Coconut Oil: How it has changed people's lives and how it can change yours!" This book is packed with testimonies and solid research showing how healthy coconut oil is, and it also included over 85 recipes showing how one can incorporate coconut into your diet.
For your chance to win quart of free coconut oil go to Tropical Traditions and tell me something else you would like to try. Then leave a comment with your email address. You need to do this first.
