Lets Get Ready Books Giveaway




Do you have a preschool child or one that will be starting first grade? I wanted to tell you about a great resource from Cedar Valley Publishing. I had the opportunity to review 2 books that I can certainly recommend.

Let's Get Ready for Kindergarten
Early childhood skills to practice such as taking turns and dressing.
Alphabet
Saying the letters
Colors
Shapes
Numbers
Body parts
Counting
And many more.

Let's Get Ready For First Grade
List of pre-first grade skills
Vowels
Consonants
Early adding and Subtracting
Skip counting
Measuring
Money
Internal Organs
And many more.

The books feature heavy duty laminated pages so you can use dry erase markers with them, and you don't have to worry about it ruining the pages. They appear very durable, so they could be used for multiple children.

Cedar Valley Publishing have very generously donated both the Let's Get Ready For Kindergarten and the Let's Get Ready For First Grade books to one of my lucky readers!

    Let's Get Ready for First Grade is the Winner of the 2007 Teacher's Choice Family Award by Learning Magazine!!! I would use these books as resources in the therapy room as I provide speech therapy to children with autism and language disorders in early childhood. These would be perfect. (Side note, I'm still a student, will be a speech language pathologist very soon!)
