Everyone knows in the United States we eat too much salt. I try to serve meals with less salt, or at least I try not to add salt. Decreasing salt in your foods doesn't have to mean decreasing taste or making the food bland and boring. There are many ways to jazz up your meals without using a lot of salt. Whether you use tricks like "oven frying" instead of deep frying, sauteing in low-sodium chicken broth instead of oil, or incorporating fun herbs and spices, like Mrs. Dash salt-free seasoning blends into your dishes for extra flavor, you can make your family meals flavorful and appealing!
